The St. Malo Warriors we're on the brink of elimination Wednesday night when they visited the Beausejour Comets.
Beausejour opened the scoring in the first period on the power play thanks to Tanner Amos (Hlady, Hucul). This time St. Malo responded quickly with their own powerplay goal thanks to Logan Fillion (Gregoire, Collette) to tie things at one.
In the second Warrior captain Ashton Dubois (Friesen, Collette) scored to give the Warriors a 2-1 lead going into the third.
In the third Beausejour tied things up when Jaedys Dancyt (Johnston, Hlady) scored for the Comets forcing a third overtime game in the series.
In double overtime Brady Gregoire scored off a Teagan Fillion rebound to secure the win and force game 7 in St. Malo on Friday night at 8pm.
