Game 5 went on Sunday evening in St. Malo and things did not start well for the Warriors.
Beausejour got off to a 3-0 lead 10 minutes into the game thanks to Liam Johnston, Lavery Melsted (Bowes, Ewasko) and Cash Clarkson (Clarke).
St. Malo answered back when Keston Worley (Cure, Holdnick) scored for St. Malo.
Beausejour would answer right back when Jaedys Dancyt scored on a breakaway.
In the second Brady Gregoire (Worley, Fillion) scored to bring it within two.
Late in the third Logan Fillion would bring St. Malo back to within one but an empty net goal by Braeden Bowes (Hlady) would ice the game.
