Warriors Use Third Period Explosion on Route to 12th Consecutive Victory

St Malo Warriors

On Sunday afternoon the St. Malo Warriors welcomed the Selkirk Fishermen in their 4th appearance of the year against one another.

Things got started early when Teagan Fillion (Cure, McFarlane) would score to give the Warriors a 1-0 lead. Despite many scoring chances the score would remain the same all the way until the third period.

Early in the third St. Malo finally got the second goal they we're looking for when Logan Fillion (Fillion) scored to make it 2-0.

Shortly after Selkirk answered back when Zach Gallinger (Saluk) scored to make it 2-1.

After Selkirk brought it back to a one goal game St. Malo would score five unanswered thanks to Logan Fillion (Tirschman, Fillion), Keston Worley, Keston Worley (McFarlane), Jeremie Collette (Dias), and Teagan Fillion (Fillion, Cure) to make it a 7-1 final.

St. Malo is back in-action on Saturday night when they visit the La Broquerie Habs with a 7:30pm puck drop
