Warriors Win 9th Straight

St. Malo Warriors

The St. Malo Warriors welcomed the Lundar Falcons to St. Malo on Friday night.

Things started well for St. Malo when Teagan Fillion (Cure) scored to make it a 1-0 game going into the second.

Lundar got on the board early when Braeden Lukas (Russell, Johanesson) would tie it up.

St. Malo would answer with two of their own when Seb Frechette (Freynet, Preteau) and Ashton Dubois scored to make it 3-1 Warriors.

Lundar would answer right back with two goals of their own thanks to Dylan Vitelli (McGreedy, Mantik) and Ryan Benson (MacMillan).

St. Malo we're able to grab the lead back before the third period when Keston Worley (Fillion, Fillion) riffled one to make it 4-3 heading to the third.

In the third St. Malo would get their second two goal lead of the game thanks to Jeremie Collette (Dubois) to make it 5-3.

Lundar would add a late goal to close it out at 5-4 Warriors.

St. Malo is back in-action Sunday afternoon in Beausejour for a match up between the top two teams in the CRJHL standings.
