The St. Malo Warriors hosted the La Broquerie Habs on Sunday afternoon in their final regular season game hoping to clinch first place in the league standings for a first round bye into the CRJHL semi-finals.
La Broquerie got things started when Tristan Bradley (Tallaire, Charney) to take an early 1-0 lead.
The Warriors tied things up in what became a big game from Keston Worley when he scored (Johnson, Dias) his first of the game.
In the second St. Malo took their first lead when Keston Worley (Rioux, Tirschman) and hattrick goal by Keston Worley (Fillion, Cure) scored to make it 3-1 Warriors.
La Broquerie would answer back on a breakaway thanks to Nathan Storoschuk (Enns, Tallaire) to make it 3-2.
St. Malo was able to grow their lead to 5-2 going into the third thanks to Brady Gregoire (Collette, Dubois) and Damon Johnson (Maynard, Worley)
In the third St. Malo would add two more goals thanks to Elijah Constant (Johnson, Worley) and Keston Worley (Rioux, Johnson).
Colton Pakoo (Tallaire) would score for La Broquerie making it a 7-3 final for the Warriors.
With the regulation win the Warriors officially secure their first round bye into the CRJHL semi-finals with an opponent TBD
