It was game 5 of the best-of-7 semi-final between the St. Malo Warriors and Selkirk Fishermen with St. Malo having a 3-1 series lead.
While it was a quiet night scoring wise the action was fast paced and tense.
No scoring in either the first or second period but the Warriors got the one the team needed when Teagan Fillion (Magne, Fillion) scored with 6 minutes left.
In the final minute goalie Donovan Bodnar stopped a penalty shot and in total all 28 shots he faced for the shutout.
The St. Malo Warriors are heading back to the CRJHL final for a rematch of last year's final with the Beausejour Comets.
Game 1 goes Friday night in St. Malo at 8pm.
