St. Malo Warriors

The St. Malo Warriors have successfully defended their CRJHL championship beating the Beausejour Comets in game 7 infront of a packed arena.

Colton Magne (Friesen, Collette) scored to give a 1-0 lead early in the second. Shortly after Brady Gregoire would make it 2-0.

Beausejour answered back thanks to Jaedys Dancyt (Johnston, Melsted) to make it 2-1 Warriors.

St. Malo was able to seal the victory and championship when Teagan Fillion (Dubois) hit the empty net with under a minute remaining.

With the victory the St. Malo Warriors have gone back to back championships for the first time in 24 years!
