St. Malo Beat Arborg

St Malo Warriors

The St. Malo Warriors were back in-action on Sunday afternoon when they hosted the Arborg Ice Dawgs.

St. Malo was in full control from the first puck drop with Keston Worley (Dubois, Maynard) scoring just over two minutes into the game.

Teagan Fillion (Braun) would add a shorthanded goal midway through the first to make it 2-0.

The powerplay got to work when Brady Gregoire (Collette, Dubois) scored to make it 3-0 after one.

In the second Keston Worley (Fillion, Dias) would score his second of the night after a beautiful passing play.

St. Malo would then use the powerplay to make it 5-0 when Damon Johnson (Magne, Dubois).

Arborg was able to break the shutout bid when Brandon Burak (Danielson, Barylski) would score on the powerplay.

The Warriors did not give them a chance to get back into the game when Brady Gregoire (Collette, Dubois) and Riley Tirschman (Gauthier-Urmos) would score quickly to make it 7-1 St. Malo.

Arborg would add their second of the night midway through the third when Harris Dankochik (Danielson) would make it a 7-2 final.

The Warriors are back in-action on Friday night when they visit the La Broquerie Habs with an 8pm puck drop.
