Warriors Score Often in First on the Way to Victory

St Malo Warriors

The St. Malo Warriors hosted the visiting Arborg Ice Dawgs on Friday night in St. Malo and it didn't take long for the home crowd to cheer and cheer often.

The Warriors scored five times in the first period to take a commanding 5-0 lead after one. Goals were scored by Jeremie Collette (Little, Dias), Ashton Dubois (Collette, Gregoire), Logan Fillion (Fillion, Worley), Damon Johnson (Worley, Rioux), and Logan Fillion (Fillion, Dias).

Arborg would get their first and only goal of the game midway through the second when Brandon Burak (Danielson) would find the back of the net.

From there on it was all Warriors scoring another four goals in the second to make it 9-1 after two. Goals scored by Kaden Rioux (Johnson, Worley), Damon Johnson (Worley, Maynard), Colton Magne (Cure, Fillion), and Sam Freynet (Dias, Lambert).

In the third St. Malo would add another three goals to make it a 12-1 final. Goals scored by Damon Johnson (Tirschman, Cure), Brady Gregoire (Dubois, Collette), and Logan Fillion (Tirschman, Magne).

Next up for the Warriors is a trip up to Lundar on November 9th with puck drop at 7pm.
