Warriors Fall to Comets

St Malo Warriors

The St. Malo Warriors hosted the Beausejour Comets on Saturday night in a finals rematch.

St. Malo was able to get on the board early when Logan Fillion (Cure, Fillion) scored to give the Warriors a 1-0 lead.

St. Malo would extend their lead to 2-0 when Kaden Rioux (McFarlane, Dubois) would score mid way through the second.

In the third period the Comets found their footing and were able to score four straight goals to steal the victory away from the Warriors.

The Warriors will look to rebound on Friday night when they visit the Selkirk Fishermen.
