The St. Malo Warriors visited the North Winnipeg Satelites in the second of back-to-back games against the Satelites on Tuesday night.
St. Malo would open the scoring when Brady Gregoire (Magne) would give the Warriors a 1-0 lead.
Midway through the first the Satelites would even the game at one when Peyton Moneyas would score on a breakaway.
With one second left in the first Logan Fillion (Cure, McFarlane) would tip in a point shot to give the Warriors a 2-1 lead going into the third.
Early in the second Logan Fillion (Cure, Magne) would add his second of the game to make it 3-1 Warriors.
Once again the Satelites would cut into the lead when Emerson Veloso (Moneyas, Raven) would score to make it a 3-2 game.
For a second time the Warriors are able to score late in a period when Jeremie Collette (Magne, Johnson) scored on the powerplay to make it 4-2 going into the third.
St. Malo started to find their stride in the third when Brady Gregoire (Magne, Dubois), Keston Worley (Preteau, Johnson), and Logan Fillion (McFarlane, Worley) would add three more for the Warriors to make it 7-2.
The Satelites would add a late goal to make it a 7-3 final.
St. Malo is back in-action on Saturday night when they host the Beausejour Comets in St. Malo with a 7:30 puck drop.
