Warriors Win Big

St Malo Warriors

The St. Malo Warriors opened up their home schedule portion of the season on Friday night when the visiting North Winnipeg Satelites came to town.

The night started off with the debut of our new cream jerseys and player introductions.

The St. Malo didn't have to wait long and often to see their hometown score. The Warriors scored three times in the first thanks to Damon Johnson (Tirschman, Worley), Logan Fillion (Freynet, Fillion), and Ashton Cure (Fillion, Tirschman).

In the second the scored ballooned to 8-0 with goals scored by Damon Johnson (Gregoire, Dubois), Teagan Fillion (Cure, Fillion), Damon Johnson (Worley), Mikka Lambert (Rioux, Freynet), and Keston Worley (Johnson, Magne).

In the third the Warriors added seven more goals to make it a 15-0 final thanks to goals by Ashton Dubois (Maynard, McFarlane), Logan Fillion (Cure, Fillion), Logan Fillion (Fillion, Little), Keston Worley (Johnson, Dias), Ashton Dubois (Collette), Logan Fillion (Tirschman, Fillion), and Tyson Preteau (Johnson).

The Warriors are back in-action on Tuesday when they visit the North Winnipeg Satelites in a rematch.
