St. Malo Takes Commanding 3-0 Series Lead

St. Malo Takes Commanding 3-0 Series Lead

St Malo Warriors

On Tuesday night the St. Malo Warriors were looking to take a strangle hold on the semifinal series against the Lundar Falcons.

St. Malo started strong with a powerplay goal scored by Brady Gregoire (Johnson, Dubois) to give them the early lead.

Lundar would be able to tie the game late in the first thanks to Braeden Lukas (MacMillan, Zdan).

The Warriors we're able to score early in the second to regain their lead when Keston Worley (Fillion, Little) finished off a 2 on 1.

Lundar would battle back and tie the game late in the period once again when Joel Macmillan (Kovall) would score.

St. Malo didn't wait to answer back late in the second when Kaden Rioux (Dubois, Keck) made a move to get around a defender and beat Lundar goalie Kennedy Kerr.

St. Malo would add an insurance goal midway through the third when Keston Worley (Johnson, Fillion) would find a lose puck in front and score.

The Warriors we're able to clamp things down the rest of the way to secure the 4-2 win and take a 3-0 series lead.

Game 4 goes Friday night in Lundar with an 8pm puck drop.
