Warriors Fall to Falcons

St Malo Warriors

The St. Malo Warriors finished up their first half on Sunday afternoon versus the Lundar Falcons.

Lundar we're able to take a 2-0 lead into the first thanks to goals by Riley Zdan (MacMillan, Farthing) and Aiden Prystupa.

St. Malo answered back early in the second when Mason French (Johnson, Penner) scored off a rebound.

Lundar added a late powerplay goal in the second thanks to Carson Gudmondson (Halldorson, St. Laurent) to take a 3-1 lead into the third.

Despite outshooting the Falcons 36-22 the Warriors fell 4-1 when Troy Johannesson (Halldorson) scored in the empty net.

The Warriors are off for the Christmas break but will be back in-action on January 9th vs the North Winnipeg Satelites.
