Ice Dawgs Score Five Unanswered to Win 6-3

St Malo Warriors

The St. Malo Warriors welcomed the visiting Arborg Ice Dawgs for the first time after their previous 7-game semi-final series of 2022-23.

Arborg would strike first when Austin Adair scored.

The Warriors would answer back shortly after when Brady Gregoire (Fillion, Maynard) finished off a beautiful passing play.

Kaden Rioux (McFarlane) would give the Warriors a 2-1 lead going into the second.

Damon Johnson (Keck, French) would add to the Warriors lead midway through the third.

Things started to unravel with Warrior penalties which ultimately led to Arborg getting back into the game.

Cadrick Dueck (Adair, Barylski) would score on the powerplay to bring the Ice Dawgs to within one.

Jordan Sanderson (Murdoch-Sanderson, Jacobson) would tie the game at three.

The Ice Dawgs would take the lead with :15 seconds left in the second thanks to another powerplay goal by Tyson Barylski (Adair, Plett)

Arborg would add another on the powerplay when Cadrick Dueck (Wilson, Hamrlik) scored to make it a 5-3 game.

Finally Arborg would add another powerplay goal by Cadrick Dueck (Crave) and make it a 6-3 final.

The Warriors are back in-action October 21st against the Lundar Falcons with an 7pm puck drop in Lundar.
