Warriors beat Lundar in Low Scoring Affair

St. Malo Warriors

The St. Malo Warriors visited the Lundar Falcons for the first time this year on Saturday night.

St. Malo waited till the late stages of the first period to draw first blood when Adam Little (Lambert, McFarlane) scored from the point to give the Warriors are 1-0 lead after one.

The Warriors would use the power play in the second to score their second of the game when Jeremie Collette (Dubois) finished a pretty passing play.

It would take under two minutes remaining in the third period before Lundar was able to get on the board thanks to a power play goal scored by Ryan Benson (McMillan, Zdan).

The Warriors we're able to hold off the Lundar Falcons to a 2-1 final.

St. Malo is back in-action on Friday night in St. Malo against the Selkirk Fishermen with an 8pm puck drop.
