Warriors Fall to Falcons


The Warriors welcomed the visiting Lundar Falcons Friday night for a CRJHL match up.

The Falcons would come out of the gate quickly with a goal just :38 seconds in the first by Ryan Gleich (Timlick, Halldorson).

The Warriors would tie it at one late in the first period when Levi Penner (Holdnick) found the back of the net.

Lundar would come out in the second on fire scoring three unanswered goals by Ryan Gleich, Colby Choken (Halldorson, Baptiste), and Bryce Allary (Prystupa).

Jaden Gosselin would make it a two-goal game with a shorthanded goal with 3 seconds left in the second.

The Falcons would extend their lead to three once again courtesy of a Colby Choken (Procter).

Evan Wuerch would answer quickly to make it a two-goal game again.

The deficit proved too much when Colby Choken would complete his hat-trick in the empty net.

The Warriors will welcome the league-leading Selkirk Fishermen on February 5th with a 7pm puck drop.
