The St. Malo Warriors welcomed the Lundar Falcons to St. Malo Arena for a Saturday night game.
The Falcons would get on the score board first when Nicholas Fernandes (Baptiste, Miller) would beat Warrior goalie Jesse Morris.
The Warriors would quickly respond thanks to a goal by Ashton Dubois (Collette, Holdnick) to make it a 1-1 game.
The Falcons would regain the lead when Riley Wirgau (Fernandes) would score to take a 2-1 lead into the intermission.
In the second period the Warriors and Falcons were both unable to find the back of the net and headed to the third with the game still at 2-1 Falcons.
Jonathan Campeau (Godmundson) would extend the Falcons lead to two mid-way through the third.
The Warriors pressed hard in the third looking to make it a 1-goal game by doubling the third period shots but we're unable to beat Falcon goalie Dillion Rapinchuk.
The Warriors are back in-action on Tuesday night when they visit the North Winnipeg Satelites at 8pm at Billy Mosienko arena.
