Warriors Drop Game 2 to Ice Dawgs

The Warriors welcomed to the Arborg Ice Dawgs to St. Malo for game 2 of their best of 7 playoff series.

The Ice Dawgs would get on the board late in the first period thanks to Tyson Barylski (Moneas) and once again less than a minute later when Kalen Guimond (Dueck) scored to take a 2-0 lead into intermission.

The Ice Dawgs would extend their lead to five with three consecutive goals in the second thanks to Tyson Barylski (Johanneson), Jordan Einarson (Einarson, Guimond), and Cadrick Dueck (Einarson, Moneas).

The Ice Dawgs would continue pouring it on scoring another 3 consecutive goals in the third to take a commanding 8-0 lead.

The Warriors would break the shut out bid when Brendan Spence (Dubois) scored mid-way through the third period.

The Ice Dawgs would add two more to make it a 10-1 final.

Game 3 goes back in Arborg on Saturday, March 12th with a 7:30pm puck drop.
