Warriors Fall to Fishermen

The St. Malo were playing the back half of back-to-back games, this time visiting the league leading Selkirk Fishermen.

The Fishermen would get on the board early in the first thanks to Peyton Moneyas and would take that 1-0 lead into the intermission.

Fishermen Kyle Folhoffer (Milgaard, Andrushko) would extend the lead to 2-0 early in the second.

Levi Penner of the Warriors would cut the lead in half when he scored mid-way through the second.

The Fishermen would extend their lead to two once again late in the second thanks to Jordan Donald (Hefferman)

The third period was all Fish, scoring three unanswered goals to make it a 6-1 final.

The Warriors will finish off their regular season schedule when they visit the Lundar Falcons Sunday with a 7pm puck drop.
