The St. Malo Warriors visited the Arborg Ice Dawgs on Saturday evening for a game between the second and third place teams in the CRJHL.
The Warriors would get off to a great start courtesy of a goal by Brendan Spence (Penner).
The Ice Dawgs would tie up the game late in the first courtesy of a goal by Jordan Einarson (Einarson, Guimond).
The Warriors would take a commanding 3-1 lead into the third period courtesy of goals by Teagan Fillion (Gosselin, Penner) and Jaden Gosselin (Holdnick).
The Ice Dawgs would claw back into the game early in the third with two-unanswered goals by Kalen Guimond within a 3-minute span.
The Warriors would take the lead once again courtesy of an unassisted goal by Cole Holdnick.
The Ice Dawgs would tie the game up at four with :31 seconds left in the game when Jack Einarson (Seymour, Kohlman) would beat Warrior goalie William Patterson.
The Warriors and Ice Dawgs headed to overtime tied at four. The Ice Dawgs would win the game when Daytona Moneas (Clarke, Dueck) beat William Patterson.
The Warriors are back in-action on Tuesday when they visit the North Winnipeg Satelites for an 8pm puck drop.
